Atlanta Area Psychological Associates, P.C. is a full-service psychological practice, serving the metro Atlanta area with three locations: Marietta, Roswell/Alpharetta, and Acworth. We have a diverse group of therapists who work together as a team, providing a full range of services for adults, teens and children. We can meet virtually every mental health need you may have, and in the rare instances we cannot provide the service you need, we can quickly direct you to the right place.

Services
Psychological Services have changed a lot in the last 20 years. Leaner, more problem-focused and outcome-oriented, there are a variety of effective approaches today that were not readily available previously. We provide services to adults, teens and children. We can meet virtually every mental health need you may have; in the rare instance when we cannot, we can quickly direct you to the right place. The articles published here describe many, but not all, of the solutions we can help you find. Acting as a behavioral, strategic and motivational consultant, we work with you, your partner, your children, your parents, etc., individually or in various combinations. Finding a new way to see an old problem is often the first step towards trying new solutions, leading to refreshingly different results. There are several “indirect” services we provide as well, such as several types of Psychological Testing and various kinds of Evaluations.

Our staff has been selected for their wide range of interests and expertise. We are actually a group, working together, setting policies together and finding you effective solutions together. We are all dedicated to our work, as well as to our ongoing professional development. Atlanta Area Psychological Associates, P.C. has been oriented towards training and development of our practitioners from the very beginning.
A True Team Practice
Many so-called “group practices” are simply practitioners who share the office rent, but have essentially no other connection. We can offer you a comprehensive range of services, including the benefit of skill sets your therapist may not have - because we are a team, not independents in competition with each other.
We are contracted with most of the major insurance companies. We also accept Georgia Medicaid (for patients up to age 21) and are on two of the Georgia Medicaid Managed Care Plans: Peach State (for patients up to age 21) and Amerigroup (for patients of all ages).
